Woes of an Addict
So my mum thinks I'm an Internet Addict! w00t... not.
Starting from the start sounds good.
Basically, two days ago my mum just started with all this weird stuff, about how the school warned all parents that they should be wary of something called "Internet addiction". Then she starts getting really angry 'cos I told her I'd put the trash out in 5 minutes after she asked, which I fully planned to do (and did), however she thought the internet was prohibiting me from doing my chores.
Anyway, then she just comes out with how I'm a liar, and how I call her names (apparently I called her stupid. All I said was she forgot I told her that I was staying at my Dad's house on the weekend), and about how I never talk about my friend Josh anymore.
How irrelevant is that? It was quite bewildering.
So she called my Dad, who then called my school to find out if I was being bullied or struggling with school or whatever, so I had to go through 4 interviews (1 interview per period) today about if I'm feeling alright and that my Dad called the school.

Just to check over the list. It says if I answered yes to 5 or more, I'm addicted. I only answered to three, which could've been caused by any amount of external things. Yeah...
Despite that, my Internet time will be cut back considerably according to my mum, which means I was forced to close all but two ports for all IP addresses but my own on the LAN via Router config, and then disable Web as well. Heh, so l33t.
On the plus side, Work Experience next week. I'm looking forward to it. Apparently I'll be dealing with systems (gotta get some rubber soles) which sounds cool.
Got the paper work all sorted out, so I'm set.
At the moment I'm installing VB 6.0. It doesn't work on my Desktop (something to do with Windows Home I suspect) however it has worked before on my laptop, so I'm trying on that.
I finally got my MSN working again. It's good, don't have to use crappy 4.7 anymore.
Admittedly, I love Microsoft. I think Microsoft is a major contributing factor to the success of technology world-wide. Bill Gates has achieved his goal (a PC in every American home), or nearly has at least. He's just gotta buy out Steve Jobs, and he's set.
Games season has started up again! So that means you'll be seeing a lot more gaming news this year in my blog. Thinking of starting up a podcast too. We'll see how it goes.
Burnout Legends for PSP. Great game, although there is one flaw. When you get to 74%, it is SATANICALLY impossible to beat any more of the game. For me anyway.
By that, I mean that Satan himself must've impaired my playing abilities, so I can't do anymore. Also, even though I've unlocked all 10 headlines, I still don't have a damn Firetruck. They lied!
It seems to me that the gaming industry this year has been primarily focused on Japan and anime/manga style games. ie: Naruto games.
Personally, I can't see everyone's fascination in Naruto beside the fact that everyone in the show happens to have magic powers. Well so what!? So does every other Anime!
Other than that, just a few no-name games coming out for PSP in the news.
Just bummin' around, Visual Studio is still installing.
So, check y'all later.
Adios
